This image from RK Rail Photos shows a snow covered P&LE 518 at Mckees Rocks. McKees Rocks had been an important part of the P&LE system. The yard included major locomotive rebuilding and maintenance, as well as freight car repair and maintenance.
By the time this photo was taken in 1994, the P&LE Railroad had been purchased by CSX. Just two years later, 518 would find her way to Caboose Falls.
